Now is a fantastic time for adaptations of awesome magical books! A Wrinkle in Time was one of the very first sci fi books I ever read as a child, so you bet your sweet booty I am excited to see it on the big screen. It’s exciting to see that so much quality sci-fi and fantasy is still being made for children and teens, both in books and film. The current upcoming geek-generation will someday have a massive catalog of quality content to look back upon fondly and share with their children. If you haven’t read the book before, it’s worth a read now, as it’s still one of the most influential pieces of sci-fi fiction.
Hold onto your butts, here is the newest trailer:
For slightly older teens with a darker streak in their viewing and reading habits, comes the third season of The Magicians, the SyFy adaptation of the best selling series of novels. The second season is coming to Netflix this month, so you can binge the first two seasons if you haven’t already.
