The Historical Tea & Dance Society is pleased to invite you to one of our most exciting events of the year… the Celtic Tea Social!

OUR DANCE PROGRAM 1:30–5:30pm
The month of March is made for wishing upon lucky four-leaf clovers! Join us for an afternoon celebrating all things Celtic through music, easy-to-do dances, and tea time. You are sure to leave with a skip in your step and smile on your face with Celtic tunes from our band ‘‘Rhythm Method’’! Tea Social entrance fee is $20.

Featuring callers: Award-winning Irish dancer Karen Kahler bringing us Celtic favorites and Darlene Hamilton with Celtic-inspired historical dances.

COSTUMES ARE NOT REQUIRED!

A note on costumes: Though many have fun wearing many different types of costumes for this event, as always, costumes are not required. here are always friends in modern casual dress attending and having a great time. We subscribe to the popular phrase, “Costumes admired but not required.“

Before our Tea Social … 12:30–1:30pm
ADVANCED DANCERS* QUADRILLES DANCE CLASS
(This 1 hour pre-event class is for experienced dancers only!)
“The Royal Scotch Quadrille”
*IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop will have complicated figures that move quickly and is not recommended for anyone who has not danced more advanced dances. You are expected to know the following dance moves without being taught: Heys, Circular Heys, Mirror Heys, Country Corners, Triple Minors, basic Polka and Rotary Waltz steps, and to follow patterns and instructions quickly. Beginners are welcome to come early and watch. To attend our 12:30 workshops is an additional charge of $5.
